Norah Otondo

Norah Otondo serves as the Data Coordinator for Let’s End Fistula Initiative. She has worked with LEFI since its inception and previously served as the Lets End Fistula Youth Club Manager.  

Norah is a High School Teacher with a Bachelors of Education from Maseno University, Kenya and a Masters Degree in Guiding and Counseling from Moi University, Kenya. She is from Western Kenya where she was born and nurtured.

Her passion is working with fistula survivors; having suffered the devastating effects of fistula as a result of a surgical complication. She underwent multiple surgeries to repair the damage.

In addition to teaching, she spends time helping other fistula survivors regain their self-esteem and independence through community based support groups and income generating activities.

Unable to have children of her own, her house is filled with kids who find there, love and laughter and safe place to be.
