Esther Sungu has worked for over 5 years with LEFI and currently serves as the Programs Manager. Esther has grown with LEFI over the years–first serving as a volunteer, then founding Board Member as Secretary, and now is part of the Leadership Team. Esther is a skilled HIV / AIDs Counselor, a Pastor, and a strong advocate for improving the lives of vulnerable children, women and girls.

Esther has worked as a Program Manager for Choice for Life Network, a nonprofit organization in Western Kenya that supports vulnerable children and women.

She holds a Bachelor of Business Management, with an emphasis in Strategic Management, from Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA), Kenya. She also holds a certificate in HIV /AIDs Testing and Counseling.

She strongly believes in the power of teamwork and participatory leadership. Her love for women and youth empowerment drives her daily pursuits.
